Broccoli "Cheese" Soup

I've just updated this recipe with a "cheesy" version! More like Broccoli Cheese Soup...only it's non-dairy! It's super delicious and very creamy. Give it a try! I forgot how delicious this soup is. Mmmm...

Welcome to my blog! My name is Brooke. I am a wife and mother of five children between the ages of 9 and 1. This is how I feed my family. I never try to hide what I'm feeding my kids. I let them watch what I put in their shakes. If we're eating spinach salad then that's what I tell them it is. I know this way of eating is not the norm and when my kids hear that "spinach is gross" at school they will be able to know that they ate it and liked it at home. I am glad that they do know how to make good food choices. They think it's pretty funny to hear all of the comments from their friends about their healthy lunches. And I think it's fun to go shopping and hear all the comments about my healthy cart full of food. My favorite comments are things like, "Where's all your junk food?" or "You've got vegetables in here I've never even seen before!" or "Do you know how to eat/cook this stuff?" The crazy thing is the stuff I buy really isn't that unusual. I've been asked what fruit my fresh apricots are! Sad really. It feels great and makes me happy that I can feed my kids in a way that will help them grow and thrive. I hope that you will be able to find some good recipes to feed your family.
